This was the thought that inspired the design of Kisamar
(and our guests seem to think we've succeeded.)
With over a decade in the luxury accommodation industry and many years of travelling, your hosts Pete and Clare wanted to create a sanctuary for visitors to the region where they could be assured of peace and privacy without sacrificing the luxury offered by 5 star hotels.
Located on the picturesque Bronte Peninsula midway between Nelson city and the Abel Tasman National Park, Kisamar was built to take full advantage of its tranquil location and the spectacular views of the Waimea inlet and the mountains beyond. Having designed and built it the next issue was how best to describe this exclusive and unique facility. After much searching we stumbled upon the following definition which seemed perfect.
"PAVILION - Pavilion may refer to a free-standing structure sited a short distance from a main residence, whose architecture makes it an object of pleasure. Large or small, there is usually a connection with relaxation and pleasure in its intended use. A pavilion is often built to take advantage of a view." Wikipedia
The Pavilion is beautifully furnished and comprehensively equipped, it is also fully stocked with a variety of indulgent breakfast options, snacks, canapés and local wine which are included in the tariff.
Daily maid service and turndown are offered as standard but not at the expense of your peace and privacy which will be respected at all times. However, should you need advice or information about the numerous activities and restaurants, Peter and Clare are always on hand to assist.
